DON’T MISS: How To Create A Vintage Farmhouse Sink
I love blue antique mason jars; they are a classic. I wanted to make some lanterns for the house to hang on the back deck post. After searching local antique and consignment shops to find the best price, I lucked out and found four jars that were alike. Here are the supplies I used:
- 18g wire
Using the tutorial from Life as a Thifter, I tied the wire. After putting the wire on the jars, I filled them with sand. The candle I used was from the dollar store. I’m sure you could probably find one that would also keep the bugs away. We purchased some hangers from Lowes to hang the jars on. Now, we have something simple and pretty to light up the back deck.
