This lovely pinecone wreath is a super simple and inexpensive project you can create in no time at all.
Fortunately, we have quite a lot of pine trees at our house so I was able to just collect the pinecones from our yard. If you get your pinecones from outside you need to bake them in the oven before use. Bugs live down in the pinecones and you don’t want that. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. I put my pinecones right on my baking sheet, but next time I do this I’ll line the sheet with parchment paper first. I had some pine sap leak out that was a bear to get off. Just a little tip from me to you.
Then stick on a pinecone. Apply a bit of pressure and hold it there for 20-30 seconds to make sure the cone is secure.
