I needed a table for the sunroom! I found this little teacart for $60 on Buy & Sale. Yes, bit high but I found it to be worth it.
I had seen so many beautiful carts redone that I felt overwhelmed picking the right design and color for this project –in fact, it took me about two weeks to decide on the color alone.

What came out was such a beautiful piece that it’s definitely going to be much-used. And of course, if I tire of the colors, I can simply repaint it.
Everything In Between!
- Algonquin & contrast is Raw Silk.
- Stencils from Amazon.
- The trays were gifted to me by a family friend
The stencils, I actually got for my four serving trays that I had planned on redoing as well –but they came in handy with this project. A family member had purchased a serving tray set at a gift store for $149! Wow! I know I can make my $ 20-yard sale set just as pretty –perhaps even prettier.
I still have not decided what color to paint the tray in. I would probably not be using the Little Whale or Buttercream shades, but I might go for the Raw Silk for the tray as well. I also think that a little bit of butterfly stenciling in some cute colors would go along beautifully with the design and paint job.
What I Adore About This Project
One thing that I’m in love with is that this little cart opens up to a small table. Our sunroom table is tiny and has a sliding-out-from-underneath tray as well. I use that table to sit the serving dishes, condiments, and napkins on. This teacart would make the perfect companion for it!
I also really adore the FMP results that this ended up having. Despite the original table’s beautiful construction, the pain job was a little on the poor side and I ended up having to use a stripper to give it the look it has now. I love, just love, all the results FMP produces –it is wonderful!
One final thing that I am so glad about is that I was able to obtain the tray. Someone did a terrible paint job on the slide in the tray as well and it appears that some glue was added as well –I’ll definitely has to spend some time getting that mess cleaned up.
