Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
In honor of today’s celebration of all things green, I’ve put together a collection of five green furniture makeovers from some of the best DIY bloggers around. I’m talking emerald, kelly, the most vibrant of greens – sorry folks, no teal or mint here today. I love when folks aren’t afraid of a little color, and the projects below certainly do look great in green!
I love this upcycled roadside bed frame over at The Heathered Nest. Heather chose simple white bedding and complementary cushions, so the entire look is anything but overwhelming.
Heidi at Happiness is Homemade not only made the brave choice to paint her sofa, she picked a beautiful and bold shade of green for the project. The result is just stunning!
The combination of the gorgeous green paint and striped fabric give this vintage chair a cool and modern vibe! Jenna at Rain on a Tin Roof has done a few pieces in similar shades of green – you’ve got to head over to her blog to see them!
Shanna at Restoration Redoux (guest posting at Girl in the Garage) turned an old Craigslist dresser into a real beauty! Head to the blog to read about it, and you’ll also learn the beautiful story behind one of her sweet pups!
Finally, Beth at Unskinny Boppy gave a vintage student desk a fresh and unexpected makeover. I just love the green base with the blue and white chevron pattern.

I’m feeling SO inspired to redo one of our pieces in a bright emerald shade, so stay tuned for that makeover! What about you? Would you use this color in your home? Let me know below!
